The great challenge to the church today is the promise hope,
expectation, that God will perform a mighty outpouring of His Spirit,
upon all flesh in this generation!
To usher in this new era, "Ruling and Reigning" with Christ, will
take a dynamic change in the existing church.
Old ways and traditions must pass to allow the new to be birthed.
No birth is without pains of deliverance, the mother or old order,
making way to the new, young child of God, which will term as the new

-THE CONFUSED ORDER-
Typified by Jonathon - COMPROMISED LEADERSHIP
There are many Christians who are in the situation of Jonathon,
the young warrior, trying to make the decision what to do in their
life. They are caught between a tremendous transition and change
of order in the kingdom of God.
1. Saul, his father, representing the old order.
2. David, the new order (new move) of God.
3. Jonathon somewhere in between.
ROMANS 15:4, is our authority to go to the Old Testament. This
then is the conflict of a young man anointed of God, who saw the
new move of God and loved the ministry, YET, even after
prophesying the coming of a NEW MOVE AND ORDER still loved the
position which he held in the OLD ORDER.
THIS IS A MESSAGE AND REVELATION AND WARNING TO THOSE THAT WOULD
HOLD ONTO THEIR OLD WAYS. WITHOUT SEPARATION, DEDICATION,
PERSECUTION, WILL NEVER ENTER INTO THE FULLNESS OF GOD'S GREAT
NEXT MOVE OF THE SPIRIT.
CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE!
1. 1 Samuel 13:3 - "AND JONATHON SMOTE THE PHILISTINES"
The Philistines were a type and shadow of the hordes of demonic
forces we face today. Goliath represents a vivid description
of Satan.
2. Chapter 14:1 - "LET US GO OVER TO THE PHILISTINES"
Jonathon was not content to sit and wait, he made the
opportunity by faith launched an attack which brought new
revelation.
verse 3: Left the 'Ichabod' situation.
verse 4: Ascended into the high places where eagles dwell
(heavenly warfare)
BOZEZ - shining with righteousness
SENEH - thorn crucifying the flesh.
Jonathon steps of faith.
1 Sam. 14:1 - "Come let us go over..."
Note Saul - hiding under a pomegranate tree near Gibea. (He left
Gibea to hide).
Jonathon's cry - "come let us go over..." totally out of character
for the fearful frightened frustrated Israel army. It was an
inspiration of God.
v1. faith aspiring - let us go
v2. faith assuring - the Lord will work for us
v3. faith encouraging - the Lord can save by many or few
v12. faith accepting - the Lord hath delivered
NOTE
Faith tested - challenged. "Come up unto us" v12.
Faith taunted - "the Hebrews have come forth from their holes".
v11.
Faith progressing - v13. Jonathon climbed on his hands and feet.
Faith triumphing - v13-14. The first slaughter.
NOTE
v15. There was a very great trembling.
The joints or loins were loosed - the knees smote one against the
other.
Note Verse 24.
3. Chapter 14:27 - "AND HIS EYES WERE ENLIGHTENED"
Psalm 119:130 - EPHESIANS 1:17-19
He saw that it was the dawning of a new day.
Verse 29 - the errors of his father were revealed unto him.
AFTER THIS REVELATION HE WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. IN
THIS DAY OF REVELATION THE CHURCH OF THE SPIRIT WILL NEVER BE
THE SAME EITHER.
Resulting in multitudes in the valley of decision, shall I
come out or shall I stay and convert the church of the flesh.
JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 15:3 -
"Why do you transgress the commandments of God by the
traditions of man".
Chapter 15 - tells us of the OLD ORDER ENDING.
Chapter 16 - tells us of the NEW ORDER BEGINNING.
As Jonathon observes this conflict he is aware that he must
make a decision of great importance.
1. Remain in the present order that God has rejected ie. Saul's
reign.
2. Follow the truth and conviction in his heart.
Chapter 17:
To assist him in his decision God allowed Jonathon to witness
the defeat of Goliath by the New Order through David and the
five fold ministry.
1 Kings 18:4 - The hand shaped cloud -
Prepare for a deluge the drought is over -
3. Chapter 18:4 - "AND JONATHON STRIPPED HIMSELF"
He gave up his old ways submitted to the new way of God's
order.
4. Chapter 19:7 - "AND JONATHON BROUGHT DAVID TO SAUL"
Often people try to bridge the gap; join the old with the
new. Luke 5:3, (old patches in new garments).
5. Chapter 20:24 - "THE KING'S TABLE"
God allows Jonathon to see the true nature of Saul. v30 -
Saul throws the javelin at Jonathon. The religious
attitudes, surrounded by ambition, and pride, now he is also
released by the act of persecution and javelin throwing.
6. Chapter 20:33 - "WHEREBY JONATHON KNEW"
Now the truth is revealed, God allows the situation and
opens the door for Jonathon to make his decision.
HE HIMSELF HAS ENTERED INTO DAVIDS SUFFERING.
Gal. 2:20; Phil. 1:29; 2 Tim. 2:12; Col. 1:24.
No longer can he keep the truth concealed he has been flushed
out. COMPROMISE OR COMMITMENT.
7. Chapter 20:40-42 - "CARRY THEM TO THE CITY"
We see here that Jonathon has taken up his armor again, he
has decided to stay in the old order. The man that had
shaken the nation, the man that had put to flight the
Philistine army, RETURNS TO THE WALLED CITY. David remains
in the wilderness of Ziph (a place of a flowing).
8. Chapter 23:14-18 - "JONATHON WENT TO HIS HOUSE"
Not just Saul's house but to his own house ie. anything that
has priority ahead of God -
DOCTRINE, ATTITUDE, OWN MINISTRY, PREJUDICE, MOTIVES,
DENOMINATION, LOVE OF MONEY, RELATIONS.
Genesis 12:1 - "GET THEE OUT FROM THY FATHER'S HOUSE, INTO A
LAND OF PROMISE"
Jonathon lives to see priests slain, idolatry, witchcraft,
bitterness, hate enter the old order of Saul's ministry.
BOTH MEN DIE FASTENED TO THE WALL OF BETHSHAN (house of
ease) TRADITION.
THE BEAUTY OF ISRAEL IS SLAIN UPON THE HIGH PLACES: HOW ARE
THE MIGHTY FALLEN.
